Description
I'm currently living the farming life here on Salt Spring Island, Canada. I'm interested in everything life has to offer ... but I'm particularly passionate and interested in permaculture, food culture, bush craft, homesteading, medicinal herbs, environmental issues and First Nations peoples ways of life. I come from a background in completing a bachelor's degree in Geography, Environment and Planning at Concordia University Montreal, QC, Canada. But what I do now is play music, I grow and preserve practically all my own food, I'm an avid cyclist and hiker, I practice my own version of spirituality, I'm a passionate cook (I like to cook whatever is seasonal and available on the farm, and I'm experienced with cooking for vegan, vegetarian, and omnivorous diets. I'm obsessed with ancient art and architecture, aliens and I love dancing. Dancing !!!

Let’s just say I’m a “jack of all trades” but not really a master at any in particular ...
I've gained a diversity of knowledge and experience through a variety of applied academic studies, internships, professional work, personal research, travel and volunteer involvement in regards to topics like :
environmental conservation and biodiversity issues, sustainable landscape design, biodynamic agriculture and Organic vegetable farming, domestic and community compost, natural building and construction techniques, ecological philosophy, human geography and political ecology, traditional food conservation techniques, fundamental nutrition, bush craft, holistic community building, workshop facilitation, event planning, vegetable market sales, rainwater catchment/storage and filtration systems, domestic waste and black water bioremediation, crop design and implementation, social intervention, sustainable livelihood practices, etc.
But what I’m really best at is giving a hand in all types of garden work, and I can cook up a storm !Age
