Description
Hi everyone! I'm Victoire, i am 25 yo and i come from France. I'm a young active person with a passion for nature, ready to take on new challenges on my next big trip to Latin America starting in March 2025. Having worked in development aid, I'm now looking to reconnect with the land and explore unknown horizons. Today, I want to get out of my comfort zone and discover alternative lifestyles, where nature has a more central place and work has a deeper meaning. That's why I'm looking for a workaway in an estencia, or other type of farm-ranch, during the time I'll be in South America (Brazil, Argentina and Chile). I have extensive experience of hiking and wilderness camping, having spent several months in the wild in Scotland and Slovenia. I also have a little experience with horses, having spent several summers in Corsica when I was younger, working in an equestrian center. Argentina and Chile, with their breathtaking landscapes, are particularly appealing to me, and I'm determined to push myself to the limit on this adventure. I love the idea of sharing authentic moments and fully immersing myself in a natural environment. I'm happy and laughing by nature, but I'm also very determined and a bit of a poet at heart (i love reading, writing, drawing and playing piano). My ideal evening? Sitting by the fire, sharing anecdotes and stories (and why not remake the world a bit :))) with strangers and listening to folk music. I'm already looking forward to this new adventure and to meeting other workaways and hosts!

More details about your skills
I'm a very adaptable and hard-working person, with varied experiences ranging from the tough world of catering/restauration to teaching to children and teenagers, or my current position as an executive in a company in the filed of Development Aid. I love animals, and was lucky enough to spend a month on a bio-ethical farm in the south of France, run by friends, where I was able to develop my bond with nature. I speak several languages, including Spanish, which I learned at a young age (although i must admit it's a bit rusty, but I'm determined to get back into it!). I also enjoy arts, playing piano and drawing. I have started wood sculpture a few months ago, and I like it a lot. Meeting new people is trully one of the most beautiful moments of life, and I get on well with all types of personalities thanks to my natural curiosity and openness to the world.I think there's nothing more beautiful than when people who weren't destined to meet find each other, and when we all come away enriched. And I simply love witnessing these unique moments :) If you accept me as a volunteer, I will be hard-working, serious and pleasant to be around.
