Hello everyone :)

I am Veronika, coming from The Czech Republic and I have joined Workaway to explore and share life and open my mind and meet people while traveling.

I am an introverted, cheerful, perceptive women who strives to grow and evolve. I am more of ,,let's go and do/create/repair something" than ,,sit down and chip chat"... Although I enjoy to have a talk where we can get to know each other and share ourselves.

In a nutshell, my passion is healthy lifestyle and continuously (re)discovering ways how to live happily. Experience with yoga, meditation or dancing, experimenting with diet or playing guitar as well as hand crafts or different kinds of jobs helps a lot. I am also interested in psychology and how the system body-mind-soul works.

I have got experience with gardening, planting, animal care, chopping wood, simple building tasks. I am not afraid to use any tool. Also, I am very keen to learn more about sustainable living, such as building eco house or tiny home, including carpentry and any creative DIY job. I love animals and I am happy to learn more about taking care of them. Also, I am in for anything about permaculture gardening, food forests and edible or healing plants. I am also open to knowledge or experience homeschooling or share knowledge about democratic school systems.

More details about my language interests
I am fluent in Czech language as my native language so I can teach you but be prepared that your tongue will have a hard time. I speak English, too. So I might be able to teach English to beginners. I can have a simple conversation in German which I would love to improve through speaking. I would love to learn other languages, too. I enjoy to observe and explore the connections and similarities in languages.

I have taken care of animals (dogs, cats, horses), general maintenance of the house, garden & orchad (planting, weeding, harvesting, pruning) and forest (wood cutting, planting).
I am not afraid to use any tool from shovel to chainsaw and happy to learn to use the ones I haven’t used yet :)

I enjoy vegetarian cooking. I always trying to improvise new meals and enjoy to add fresh ingredients preferably straight from garden... and than share the meal with someone!

I also practise yoga, play guitar a little bit and sing when nobody's around.

We enjoyed hosting Veronika. She was always bright and cheerful, tidy and willing to take on a variety of tasks. Communication was good and she learned quickly in taking on new tasks.
