I am Verena, 22 years old and a positive thinker. I love to meet nice people with a sense of humour.
Thanks to Workaway, I was able to travel to Wales and France in 2020. In 2021, I travelled to Belgium and France. 2022 took me to the amazing country of Spain and its island La Palma. Experiences and people I never want to forget.
I am looking forward to my next journey.
I like all kinds of sports, music, singing, animals, exploring nature, meeting new people and adventures!
I like to preserve the beauty of nature because we have just one Earth and the Earth is amazing. I graduated school in June 2020 and started studying two different subjects.

My native language is German and I can teach you my mother tongue.
I worked on a farm with over 40 horses for 2 months so I am able to drive a tractor and know how to work with horses.
I have childcare experience through babysitting.
I grew up with animals and especially chickens so I can deal with animals and I'm a chickens professional;)
First, I studied nutritional sciences for one year. Now I am studying landscaping and nature conservation so I have practical and theoretical knowledge in soil, plants, nutrition, landscaping, ecology, ...
Furthermore, I play the flute and the recorder and I am able to teach it to you (or your children). I also play some guitar but just a little bit;)
We have a garden and I really like gardening so I am happy to help you with your plants.
I am good in painting, baking, taking and editing photos and I'm happy to share my skills and learn from you.
On my previous workaways, I did:
- gardening (planting vegetables and flowers, creating flower beds, weeding, watering, pruning, lawn mowing)
- harvesting and fruit picking (potatoes, vegetables, fruits and berries)
- animal care (chickens, ducks, cats, rabbits, pheasants, quails, dogs)
- housekeeping (cleaning, sweeping, hoovering, tidying, painting walls, washing the dishes, cleaning windows, doing the laundry)

- working with clay and biulding a cabin together with clay
- hand sewing

In fact she went to surf lesson in Capbreton every day and so she wasn't able to work really hard all day long. Enough for me but not enough for her!
