Hello, we are Hanna & Johannes living in our van with two cats - traveling to find a nice piece of land to settle down. We are always happy to meat new people

  • Description

We are Hanna (30) and Johannes (32) from Germany. In 2018 we started our 'world trip' living in our converted van fulltime. In April we added another member to our travels - her name is Fine and she is our most prescious van cat :) which got pregnant - so now we have two :D
Our goal is to see the world, make experiences and learn many skills from people like you. Furthermore, we would like to become more and more aware of what we really need in life (and what not) and to be more conscious of things such as the ressources we use. For instance, we currently use so little water (for cleaning and drinking only) that it seems crazy how much we used to use for things such as the toilet etc. In the future, we see ouserlves on a piece of land that we can cultivate to become as independent as possible. For that, we want to learn more about biodynamic agriculture and permaculture - and also other amazing skills.
We care about nature and all life on it. Hence, we both are supporters of the Waldorf philosophy - especially with regards to their view on the equality of all life (plants, animals and humans) and the way they teach. Good organic food is really important to us and we love to cook!
Now, a little more on our references:
Johannes has a BA in economics and did an apprenticeship as a boat builder (specialized in wooden boats) and is therefore really good with his hands. He furthermore used to work at a farmer's market selling organic vegetables and fruits.
I, Hanna, did an apprenticeship as a industrial clerk. After that I finished my BA in English and History. During my studies I worked at a Waldorf school and for an organic bakery.
So if you are in need for workers, we would love to see your projects and help where we can - but also learn from you.
We are looking forward to hearing back from you

  • What else ...

We have 2 cats that like to be outside all day. They are usually fine with other animals and keep their distance. They are not sterilized because we think that every female should have the chance to be a mother, at least once in life. So if you have male cats or if there is the chance of male cats in the neighbourhood, this could be a problem (right now is not particularly the right timing for the cat to have children) :) This might sound a little crazy but we always keep an eye on her so as of now, it has never been a problem
