  • Description

    Hey there !

We are Vanda and Mindaugas, a couple from Lithuania dreaming to travel this beautiful world by immersing ourselves in a different culture. We always go by rule - treat others the way you want to be treated. As a couple we could be described as always smiling, leaded by positive attitude, easy - going, friendly and creative. We are united by big love for animals, travel, sports and more deeper, sensitive thinking. We'd say that we are dreamers, dreaming of a better world for everybody :)

    Vanda:
I am an engineering graduate with a creative mind, mixing my technical and artistic skills in the daily life. I am always open for new opportunities and since I am a very curious person, I just love to learn something new. That's why my work, personal interest and hobby experiences varies so much.

I was so blessed to travel and work in many countries. My work experience includes customer service, logistics coordination, dispatch operations, general office tasks, event organization and management, teaching and leading small groups of people.

As a person I am interested in healthy lifestyle and nutrition - I have listened to hundreds of seminars, as well as I have spoken in some myself. I enjoy sports and active lifestyle. I am a huge fan of many activities like skiing, cycling and I have a burning passion for aviation :)
I enjoy cooking and mostly make confectionery. One of my biggest loves is photography and I will carry my camera everywhere.
Then I have spare time, I always make some handicrafts. At the moment I am attracted by making Japanese flower balls called - kusudama :)
I love science, astronomy and trying to fix things myself. So I am proud to say that I have an experience changing a laptop's keyboard, drilling some holes in the wall for kitchen shelves or assembling my furniture :)
I have a huge interest in human psychology and I love meeting new people.

    Mindaugas:
I have graduated from Vilnius University as a bachelor of History which gave me an authentic perception of the world. That's why I always wanted something more from my travels. I wanted to change a history of somebody, of some communities for a better way. And now we have such an opportunity with a little help of ''workaway'' project.
If I would need to describe myself in just one word, I would say - sports :) All my life I was keen on some sport's activities. I'm a huge fan of basketball and I love playing it myself. At the moment I am all into daily fitness and passionate about living healthier.
I am a music lover and I enjoy playing my guitar during the windy winter evening.

I have been working as a sport's equipment shop manager for 5 years, so I have a very good knowledge of customer service, human resources, management, sport's equipment, general office tasks. Also I have various experiences during my jobs in other European countries like France and the Northern Ireland. I have accomplished some hospitality and technical skills there too.

We both manage an eco - farm back in Lithuania. We are growing some organic black currants and gained good experience of organic farming.
Also we have participated in some volunteering projects. One of the most memorable volunteering experience was helping to save a white stork which accidentally landed on the oil spillage in the pond.
