Hello! My name is Valeeta Bennett. I’m a queer Canadian woman, a mother to two remarkable adult children, a world traveller, global citizen, and environmental warrior.
As I reflect on my contributions to humanity, the earth, and all its other inhabitants, I realize that I am capable and privileged enough to give more. After working and exploring 42 other countries, I would like to commit myself to experiencing more of what my own country has to teach me!

Professionally, I am an internationally certified English and Spanish language teacher with more than 15 years experience. I am fortunate to be able to teach remotely, requiring my attention to online instruction only a few (flexible) hours each week.
I am passionate about ecological sustainability, supporting ethically and equitable minded efforts in enterprise and in my own contributions to society.
Solar energy, off grid living, water conservation, animal welfare, gardening are all areas I am keenly interested in and motivated to learn more about… oh, and bees, bees, bees please!?
With a grateful and open mind I’m eager and ready to experience more of the wonders of Canada and the beautiful humans that are making it better.
