Hey! My name is Uri, I was born in Tel Aviv and hold dual nationalities, Israeli and Romanian.
I’m taking a break from computer science studies for travelling, expanding my skill set and trying to figure out what I want to do and achieve later in life.
I’m a fast learner, hard-worker and very social and outgoing person. I am currently looking for an opportunity to work/volunteer while discovering new places, socialising, gaining experiences and ultimately, if it becomes viable, to go back to my studies online and abroad.

I like meeting people from different cultures and lifestyles, I enjoy taking long train or bus rides and having long conversations with people I meet on the way, and I like “jumping into water” and trying new travelling ideas like hitchhiking, solo travelling with a tent and obviously workaway!

I'm planning to start a new phase of my travelling! I'm currently deciding whether I want to come back home, or move somewhere else for some while. I would like to find a workaway in Germany, to experience some cultural exchange, learn the basics of the language, and meet/socialise with local people! This will be the end of my trip, and I’m expecting it eagerly.

I’m a hard worker, with good work ethics. I’m sure I'll be able to help with whatever chore/challenge about to arrive, I hope to see you soon!

- I'm a very fast learner, I'm able to help with various kinds of technological challenges, and would be happy to face something new.

- I love Hiking. I've been hiking mostly in Israel, some in Croatia and recently(August 23) I went solo to Kungsleden in northern Sweden.

- I've been scuba diving since I was 12, and currently holding an elite diver certificate. I've been to Eilat (Israel) and Sinai (Egypt).

- I’ve been cooking food for my friends for a long time, and we all enjoy my dishes. I would like to learn how to cook new cuisines, and I would be able to help in the kitchen.

- I like watching tv series and reading books. I'm currently reading The Lord Of The Rings.

- I once built an electric longboard, after a while of dog sledding with my two Belgian shepherds(Kim & Chelsea) in the park, if you can find any use for it(;
