Description
We are Elena, Attila, and Yona – a three-person family from Germany.
We plan to travel through Europe for 6 months starting in October 25 in our camper van and work in agriculture. We are both professionally trained social workers and our daughter starts 6th grade at school. We would like to broaden our horizons and learn about the origins and processes behind our food through our own hands-on work.
I have dreamed for years of harvesting olives and pressing them into oil. However, we are, of course, generally excited to harvest or process any other fruits or vegetables.
Attila is also a trained tree care specialist and can bring his equipment. Additionally, he can repair agricultural machinery, vehicles, and electrical installations, as well as pretty much everything around the house.
Attila is very fit and is also a coach for martial arts/fitness.
Apart from helping with the harvest, I am also very good at painting walls, setting up and cleaning rooms. I can also help preparing meals for guests.
We both have experience growing vegetables and fruits in our garden. We also both have experience in the hospitality industry. We bring international work experience with us and are very open and warm people. We also enjoy making music.
Yona will either attend an online school during our travels or, most likely, will love gaining practical experience through our work. She loves meeting other children and discovering new things.
We do not ne necessarily need accommodation. We can comfortably live in our camper van.
We look forward to exchanging ideas and meeting other people, but we are also happy to be just for us some time.
