Hello, we are two friends who met each other during a 3 month stay in Zanzibar where we volunteered in a conservation project. We've since travelled to Austria were we helped out at a hotel/farm. We cant get enough of travelling, culture exchange, volunteering and now want to go to Australia!
We both love working in the outdoors with animals or anything else that we can get our hands on.
Nikola is very good with kids and works with troubled kids at her job back home in Germany.
Tobias has also worked with kids both as a substitute teacher and in a kindergarden.
We are both outgoing and really excited to get some new experiences as well!

Nikola is a pedagogue and works with troubled kids.
Tobias is taking some gap years now and has worked as a substitue teacher and pedagouge in a kindergarden.

During our stay in Zanzibar most of our work involved organic farming. It was very elementary work, it was tough soil so wed dig up the ground with pickaxes and hoes and use what we could get from nearby animals or weeds, as compost and protection for the plants.
We did lots of other works as well concerning recycling and marine conservation.

At our stay in Austria we helped out at the hotel cleaning up rooms, taking care of guests etc.
We took care of the animals (horses, goats, sheep, chickens and rabbits). The family who owned the hotel had two kids aged 6 and 8 who we'd babysit as well. Nikola stayed in austria for 3 months and Tobias stayed for 2 weeks.
