Hello everyone!
My name is Tjaša (and my nickname is Breza, meaning birch tree in slovenian ;)) I am 26 years old and I currently living in Ljubljana, Slovenia where I am finishing my master studies of ethnology and cultural anthropology.
I am open to do some volunteering adventures again (after a break of some years). Currently I am travelling to Estonia for 3 months (October - December 2025) for my master thesis research project on Estonian sauna culture. I am flexible and open for various kinds of exchange: meetups, short visits or longer volunteering experiences. Preferably I would like to stay at one place from two weeks to one month, but lets find common ground together :) I am also open to visit some places in Latvia and Lithuania to talk, help out and experience what role sauna plays in your everyday life.
I am energetic, positive and caring person. I consider myself to be playful as well as organized. Always trying to balance between structure and flow of life. I like to collect hobbies and interests and be inspired by numerous ways of living on this planet. My view on life goes through poetical-anthropological lenses. I am trying to maintain pure curiosity about everything that is new and also about things we often take for granted.
I work as improvisational theatre mentor and leader of some creative workshops (creative writing, storytelling, forest connection) as part of projects we have with my young association called Zavod Čajovna, in which we want to encourage creative, authentic and natural way of life, still searching for even clearer vision. I am really interested in building my own compost toilet, sauna, magical tea house and women's tent. Small and meaningful places inspire me, so I hope I can encounter some on my travels and apart from learning how to create such places also help out around them.
I am interested in helping with permaculture gardens, animal care, babysitting, tourism, creative art projects, forests, wild plants, natural building techiques...
I like to work in a respective environment where physical activity frees the spirit but is also enriched with community forming and cultural aspects. I have many experiences working as a volunteer (wwoof) on ecological farms abroad: in Ireland, Belgium, Finland and Latvia. During my gap year in 2019 I was workawaying in Spain, Portugal, France, Netherlands and Italy. Year later I had one workaway experience in Austria. All were wonderful (and yet very different!) experiences that made me cherish life.
I want to help people with their life projects and be a small stone of their mosaic and them being small part of mine as well.
I am excited to meet you.Interests

It was soo nice living in a caravan at their place! Making fire was my passion. Jareon always explained me what to do, I learned a lot actually! They are very knowledgable, especially concerning nature and gardening. They make their own bread, they are a happy family to be with. They gave me enough information already… read more
