Description
Hi, I’m Tj from Manchester, England, with my family is from Jamaica and Nigeria.
At 18, I decided to leave college and pursue a career in marketing and content creation. This led to my first internship in digital marketing, which required me to move to Dublin, Ireland, for three months. It was both scary and exciting, as it would be my first time abroad and I was the youngest on the programme, everyone else having already graduated from University. But I fell in love with both the city and its beaches. That time in my life sparked my continued pursuit of travel.
Immediately after that, I unexpectedly landed another internship in Bordeaux, France, despite having already done one with the same provider. This second adventure was incredible, the highlights including a visit to Dune du Pilat, Europe’s tallest sand dune and go-karting on ice.
During both experiences, I met amazing individuals that I still speak to to this day. Without them, my travel experiences would’ve been completely different
Currently, I’m completing an apprenticeship in content creation and am eager to explore more of the world. I’m passionate about learning about different cultures, and I’m always ready to dive in and get involved.
In my spare time, I enjoy roller skating, attending concerts, and trying new food (I’m especially excited to sample local cuisines!). I’m also keen on attending festivals in the future.
Through this experience, I’m hoping to broaden my horizons, learn new languages, and contribute meaningfully to any work I do.Interests

I would love to learn a language. I always feel like I am doing myself a disservice by not branching out in this area. But there are many languages I would want to learn, whilst in France I picked up some French, but due to not upkeeping this skill, I feel I am right back at the start. It would also be great to learn Spanish, Korean, Japanese, BSL, etc... I would be willing to learn anything anyone is willing to share with me.Skills and knowledge I'd like to share or learn

More details about your skills
I absolutely love both cooking and baking, and this passion started when I was young. I spent a summer in London with my Aunty, who taught me a variety of recipes while letting me help in the kitchen. Since then, I’ve found it hard to stay out of the kitchen. Now, whenever someone’s birthday rolls around, instead of buying a present, I bake a cake and any other sweet treats the person desires. It's become a tradition.
On the tech side, my dad’s obsession with computers has had a huge influence on me. He’s always refurbished old laptops, and over the years, I've become the go-to person for tech troubleshooting at work. His love for technology sparked my own interest and played a part in my decision to go into content creation.
Growing up, my dad also taught me that with determination, you can tackle anything – and that apparently includes home renovation. Whether it’s painting, laying flooring, or building a shed, I’ve always been eager to get involved. Give me a hammer, nails, and a pencil, and I can probably create something that can be used.
In high school, I ran a gardening club where we grew our own produce. It was a rewarding experience, and I learned the ins and outs of gardening, from planting to harvesting. I’m always keen to learn and get hands-on with projects, whether they’re related to food, technology, or DIY.Age

What else ...
I love both board games and card games, wherever I go I always bring a pack of cards. Though I have never finished a game of monopoly, which is a goal of mine this year.
I love musical theatre, whenever I go and visit my sister in London I always try to go and see at least one show. The most I've done is 5 musicals within 3 days.
I also love to read, though I may not have physical book in my hand I read to start and finish my day. Whenever, I have alone time you can typically find me scrolling on my phone to read.
Though I love big city's, I think it would be really healing to be more outdoors, and get stuck into it.
I am truly looking forward to learning new things, experiencing different cultures, and connecting with new people. Some more information
