Hi :)
My name is Tiphaine, I am a 19-year-old French-speaker who lives in a small village in Switzerland. I consider myself as an open-minded, reliable, positive and independant person. I would like to travel to the United Kingdom or Ireland to train my English (my C1 level on the paper needs practice !). I worked as a Workawayer in a German family for 6 months. That was a beautiful experience and I am eager to discover and experiment again a new culture ! I am looking for local experiences and true life abroad, where I would be glad to help and share my energy. At the moment, I am spending a gap year before going to university in translation and culture. I enjoy cooking, baking and trying new meals, as well as reading, writing, discovering new places, going out, doing yoga or walking in nature. I would love to learn more about gardening and other outdoor skills. Besides, I am a musician (mostly guitar and singing, jazz and bossa nova). I'm used to playing in concerts and I love sharing music with people and play with them. More generally, I admire all kinds of art, as well as literature and philosophy.

Both teaching and learning interest me : languages are a marvelous way of exchanging cultures, ideas and feelings. On the one hand, I need to learn English and German for my later studies at the university and I am also curious about any other language for open-mindedness. On the other hand, I would enjoy teaching languages. As I like playing bossa nova music, I am very interested in learning brazilian portuguese.

I worked as an Au-Pair for 6 months, so I am used to all cleaning and cooking tasks, taking care of pets, as well as helping children/teens with their homework. I am also very interested and have a bit of knowledge to set up concerts and general musical technical knowledge. Otherwise, I would love to learn new skills, in gardening and sustainbility for instance. I believe I am a quick and interested learner.
I would also be glad to teach French and music to every interested person.
