  • Description

    Hi there,

My name is Deborah, and I am a nature lover. I enjoy travelling and in the last few years, I have visited amazing landscapes and meet incredible people, from locals to other travellers.
After living in the city I quit my job. The idea is to do a lot of conservation work while travelling, discovering this world and learn from other people.

I consider myself a very hard-working person, I am not looking for a free bed and food. I really want to work, help, learn and live with people. Live like a local.

For the last past years, I’ve been studying, during my free time, about sustainable development, climate change, planetary boundaries, etc. So, I would like to become more sustainable and learn from others. I want to live in balance with nature and help to restore what we humans have done for the last few decades.

Education is a human right and is the key to reach wellbeing for everyone on this planet. Thus, I'd be glad to help to teach children, young people and adults to reach their dreams. I can help with Maths, Science, Sports, Spanish, English, Environmental issues and computers.

I have been always very active practising different sports, from cycling (13 years without a car, just cycling to everywhere), yoga, running and acting classes. So I hope that could also be something to add.

I love dancing (not TV at home), music and anything related to arts, I cannot play any instrument, but I can dance for hours :)

I would love to give my time to others to improve their wellbeing. Everyone deserves to have a happy, fulfilled and healthy life.

Discovering new places and meeting new people, it’s honestly when I learn the most from a country, their culture, their way of living and their relation with nature.

Thank you very much for reading my profile!

    Good karma :)

    Deborah

  • What else ...

I have been doing 13 volunteer jobs in Latinoamerica, mainly in conservation, tourism, translations and permaculture.

I really want to learn and practice more about sustainable development, to live more off the grid. And I believe the more I learn, the more I could help later to others and change our lifestyles to a more sustainable and environmental way.
I have been also volunteering in Nepal to help the children and young people to have a better childhood, which is essential for their wellbeing and a proper future.

After 2.5 years living in the jungle, mountains, cloud forests and always with the local people, I feel very comfortable and happy to continue having this type of lifestyle. I am really learning a lot from them and I want to continue this way. There is always a very positive knowledge interchange.
