Seek Discomfort!
Hello World!
Carl Sagan once called our home a "pale blue dot." And yet, that dot has so much to offer, so much to see and experience and I'm all here for it. I wanna meet new people, new cultures, and widen my cultural horizon.
I already lived and worked in Finland for half a year as part of the Erasmus program, before beginning my studies in Germany. In the summer of 2021, for four months, I worked in a workaway project in Grenada, one that I can highly recommend! So I'm kind of a workaway veteran if you will.
After my interest in videography already enabled me to work as an assistant filmmaker and editor, I'm now looking forward to delving deeper into photography. Additionally, I just like to create short clips of places I visit and things I get to experience.
Graphic design and image editing are also some of my attempts to continuously improve my creative skills.
Also, I like to bake cakes and all that good stuff, I'm interested in fashion and in my free time like to read, sketch and play piano (just don't expect me to play anything, my piano skills are very rusty). I took dance classes for three or four years, but I'll admit that I'm a bit out of practice...
I'd describe myself as very open-minded and uncomplicated and I'll happily convince you of that in person.
For my fellow workawayers out there: Despite me not being in any workaway project right now, I always like to meet people from around the world and I'm looking for someone interested in joining my journey this year. So to anyone out there interested in getting to know a fellow workawayer, feel free to send me a message!
Cheers, TimInterests

Worked with youngsters aged 8-18 in Finland, which I enjoyed a lot. Many contacts to the people I got to know there (youngsters, colleagues and fellow Erasmus volunteers) still are active today, which is something I hope to achieve in other projects as well!
Not afraid to work with my hands and body. I helped renovate several houses, worked on a farm and I also like to bring in my own ideas.Age

For real: If you consider coming here, do it. Minimum duration of stay recommended: 4 months, that's the time the rooster needs to not see you as a threat every time you feed the chickens (an obviously relevant indicator). But really every month you stay… read more
