I'm Tijn, a 23 year old student from the Netherlands and I'm on my first WorkAway trip.

I love the Netherlands, but I've decided to skip the winter this year and jumped in my car heading for southern Europe to enjoy the sun and being outside.

I'm looking for a place to stay where I can be of any help. Usually next to my studies I like to work with my hands. I've had a side job as a solar pannel installer over the past year so I know my way around tools and I'm not afraid of physical labour. I would love to help with building, maintaining, DIY etc. I would also like to help with gardening, although I'm not (yet) an expert in that field. I like cooking a lot, especially with fresh ingredients. I'm pet friendly and I know how to clean up after me.

I do like to eat vegetarian, though definitively not so strict about that. Furthermore I like being around people because I most of the time get energy from being together with others. I thrive in the sun outside and love outdoor sports. I've gotten into climbing since 5 years and I've taken all my gear with me, knowing that there are some awesome climbing spots in Spain. I speak Dutch and English and a tiny bit French, and would love to learn a bit of Spanish.

I have a knack for working with my hands. Throughout my life, I've become adept at handling tools and currently hold a part-time job as a solar panel installer. Scaling heights doesn't faze me; in fact, I enjoy the challenge.

Beyond my technical skills, I have a passion for cooking and love experimenting in the kitchen, especially with vegan recipes, though I don't strictly adhere to a vegan lifestyle.

While I adore children, I must admit that I'm not the best at prolonged babysitting sessions. I can drive, also in the mountains. I speak Dutch, English, and a bit of French, but I'm open to learn more languages.
