Hello, I am Theresa from Berlin. I love traveling and connecting with people. I have used Workaway to be able to travel for two years and loved getting to know places through projects. Nowadays I can't travel as much, but still love being part of projects whenever I can.

I love cooking, taking care of animals, and interacting with customers. I have had jobs cleaning houses and tutoring children as well. Working outdoors on farms has always been quite appealing to me.
I am open and excited to try new jobs as well, since I'd like to achieve new skills and improve my old ones.
Ever since I started doing workaway adventures I have worked on a farm, helped with a kids´camp, cooked for families, cleaned, renovated and painted, worked in a cafe and done a whole lot of odd jobs.
Every workaway has become a part of me somehow and I can´t wait to see what is still to come.

What an amazing space they have created in this school! I ended up staying two months, making it my longest workaway until this day. That is because the atmosphere of this school sucks you right in. I stayed with the family for a week and it was just lovely. Angela and Mike are kind and generous hosts and their daughters are almost too cute for life! Angela gave me loads of advice for my trip to New Zealand as well. The work ( if it can be called that ) was little and easy: some cleaning and some gardening.

I had a great time at Carol's place. She is extremely welcoming and super lovely. After a month of traveling Thailand her place felt very luxurious. It is definitely food heaven ( I hope you smiled, Carol ;) )
