Hello,
I have joined Workaways because I’m looking to have some mini solo adventures, meet new people, experience different cultures and have a lot of fun.

This is my first experience of writing a profile for Workaways. I am not exactly sure, what will make me appeal to hosts so I’m going to give you a short insight to me and my life!

I am incredibly lucky as I have the most amazing job at a Children’s Hospice, caring for children with life limiting conditions and supporting their families. I am also fortunate to have time to travel (I get lots of time off in between work from 3 days to 2 weeks at a time).

I live in a beautiful part of England with my boyfriend.

Things I love, - my boyfriend, spending time with my family, especially Piper my 7 year old neice and friends, Doris our campervan, being outdoors, camping, walking/biking/keeping fit, eating out, visiting new places, going to festivals/gigs, reading, animals (especially dogs)/wildlife, meeting new people, history, art, having a laugh and spending time with people who are kind and considerate.

What else ...

Previous jobs I have had = various different roles in hospitality, teaching young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, caring for the elderly and adults with disabilities.
support work for the charities Age UK/Victim Support, art workshops at festivals and a few others.

During my 20’s I did some travelling with a friend, we worked in Ibiza, spent time in India and Australia. Since then I have enjoyed many holidays with my boyfriend, visiting different countries (India being one of our favourites) and exploring the UK in Doris our campervan.

Now I feel it is time to do a spot of travelling on my own!

In the past I have renovated 2 properties with my boyfriend and the help of others.

My first Workaway experience was amazing and I can't wait to go on another adventure.
