We love to meet travelers from all over the world and exchange stories and ideas!
We love chatting over a lovely hike in nature or a meal in town. We’d love to go on adventures and explore togetherOur next destination:
Canada - from May 2024 until May 2025 View allDescription
We are both very active, outdoorsy people and are most fulfilled and happy when we are in nature. We love to go on adventures together and go hiking, camping, road tripping, swimming, or snorkeling.
While staying in New Zealand together we found how important our freedom is to us and started to live out of Dylan’s Truck in order to get away from the city when we wanted to and go on adventures on the South Island of New Zealand. We absolutely love the nature and the mountains here as they always ground us and make us feel more alive.
The values most important to us are freedom, family, love, health and purpose.
Our dream is to build our own homestead one day and so we are now on our mission to travel the world and gain as many skills and as much knowledge from other cultures and people as we can.
We hope we can give some of our vision back while traveling the world and live our lives to the fullest.Interests

Jana - I worked as an Au-Pair (Caregiver) for one year in America during which I took care of a 6-year-old boy and a 9-year-old boy.
Being interested in a caregiver role, I finished my studies in Psychology which gave me a lot of insights into child development and made me grow as a person to be more reflective of myself and be more attentive to other people.
After that I started to travel the world to experience it first-hand and to learn more about the planet and myself.
I lived in Germany, the US, the Netherlands, Australia and New Zealand and did a range of different jobs from hospitality to kitchen hand to housekeeper to retail assistant to data entry specialist to caregiver through to gardener. Thus, I am a very flexible person who adapts quickly to a new environment and job.
I am a very outdoorsy person; I love to spend my time in nature and around animals. I met my boyfriend Dylan in New Zealand, where I was volunteering on a few farms and learned more about gardening. Since both my parents were born and raised on the countryside, they taught us to live attuned to nature and that is where I feel most fulfilled. I would love to learn more skills around farming, gardening, cooking, and all about self-reliance.
Dylan - I am a qualified electrician in New Zealand.
I was born into a very hands-on family and because of it I learnt a few skills about building and maintaining property, but I really want to learn even more new tricks, tips and skills.
I also learnt a bit about gardening and growing our own crops in our backyard in these raised beds we had built from scratch.
My dream is to be able to build and maintain my own home and be self-reliant.
Therefore, I want to learn more about farming, building, agriculture, wildlife, hunting and permaculture.Age
