  • Description

Hi there, this is Pim (he) and Teuni (she), both Dutchies at heart. We have a sweet (female) dog called Rugga (Norwegian at heart). We have been travelling and doing Workaway for more than a year during 2025/2026. Through all the experiences and knowledge we have gained along the way, we now have a clear idea of what we are looking for. Please read our full story to see if we could be a good match.

    About us:
Pim is a Psychomotor Therapist (PMT). He has worked in youth care and with families experiencing difficulties. He helps people work through trauma using movement and games. He is very passionate about his work and truly loves what he does. Pim is energetic, positive, and has a lot to give. He is also very handy and enjoys building, fixing and helping wherever needed.

Teuni has several professions: she is a dietitian, research nutritionist, and yoga teacher. Her career started as a dietitian for high-performance athletes. After that, she became a nutrition teacher at university, and now she runs her own online (Dutch) yoga business: Early Bird Yoga. Teuni brings a calm and grounded energy and always enjoys a good conversation or a nice walk.

    What we're looking for:
A place where we can live, work and enjoy our time together with you. During our journey, we came across many places with high-pressure tasks, where people were always busy and stressed about money or deadlines. Sometimes we did not even have dinner together or share playful moments, and that is not the kind of place we are looking for anymore.
We would love to connect by sharing work and meals, sharing both highs and lows, and learning from each other. We also discovered that it works very well to have a weekly meeting to discuss the tasks that need to be done and check in with each other, so everyone stays happy :-)

    What we offer:
Pim is the practical man you may be looking for. He is handy, strong, and has good practical knowledge about building things and working with machines. He would prefer to work 4-5 days a week, up to 4 hours a day, as he has learned this balance works best for him and still gives him time for kitesurfing, hiking, and enjoying his free time. Of course, he is happy to help more when needed for special projects!

Teuni brings softer and caring skills. She enjoys cooking, cleaning, organising, helping with kids and working in the garden. As she also runs her own business, she can work up to 3 days a week, around 3-4 hours a day. This can be in the morning or afternoon, and she is also flexible to help a little more when needed!

*Since you may have noticed that we work a little less than “standard” Workawayers, it’s good to know that we are open to contributing financially towards groceries (or partly taking care of them ourselves). It would be great to discuss this in advance.*

    What we really need:
A private place for the three of us to sleep and live in (preferably with a small kitchen where we can prepare breakfast and sometimes our own dinner). We prefer not to share a bedroom, as we feel we have outgrown that stage. Sharing a house is absolutely fine.
We have previously lived in a caravan, in our own gîte, in an attic room, and in shared houses. We are clean, respectful, and quiet people. We have also lived in a community before, so we understand the importance of respecting each other’s privacy.

The Early Bird Yoga studio travels with us, so Teuni needs a room (minimum around 4 x 5 metres) for teaching on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 7:00 to 7:30 AM. It is important to have a private and quiet space for the live online yoga classes, as they are also recorded.
It would also be wonderful to have internet access (at least 30 Mbps) and a room with one clean wall without windows. If there is enough space, you are very welcome to join the classes in real life!

  • More details about your skills

Pim is very handy and built our campervan himself. He is sporty and athletic (running, hiking, fishing, swimming, kitesurfing; he enjoys and can do it all). Pim is also a good guitar player, and we enjoy playing and singing together.

Teuni teaches (online) yoga and is happy to share her skills. She is also a good cook, great with kids, can play and sing with her ukulele, and is said to have golden hands (massage is one of her hobbies).

  • What else ...

We have a dog! She is a female Border Collie and was born in Norway on the 17th of January 2025. She has a lot of energy and loves to run, jump, and play. But we are lucky, because she can also relax and switch off.
She likes to chase things that move fast, such as bikes and cars. We are training her a lot to prevent this, but she is (and always will be) a Border Collie. So if there is heavy traffic or a busy road next to your house (without a fence), it would not be the best place for us.

Please include RUGGA-PUGGA-YOGA in your message if you contact us, so we know you have read our full story and there will be no surprises :-)

  • Some more information

    • Smoker

    • Driver's licence

    • Allergies
Teuni has hay fever and is allergic to shellfish (seafood). We both have a slight allergy to cats, but we still love cuddling with them! We’d simply prefer not to have them in our bedroom.

    • Special dietary requirements
We prefer healthy, high-quality (organic) food. We are happy to eat vegetarian meals, but not vegan. We also enjoy meat occasionally, preferably local or organic.
