Hi! I'm Teodora Atanasova, a 31-year-old tech journalist from Bulgaria, currently working for The Recursive, a media outlet that covers the startup ecosystem across Central and Eastern Europe. My curiosity is what drives me in life, and it’s led me to some amazing experiences so far — living in Berlin, studying in Poland, spending a summer at a film camp in Italy, etc; would be happy to share more in perso!

This is my very first Workaway experience, and it's something I’ve been dreaming of doing for a long time. I’m coming into it with an open heart, ready to meet inspiring people, exchange stories, and help however I can.

I speak English, Bulgarian, and a bit of German — and I’m very excited to learn Italian! What truly brings me joy is connecting with people from different cultures. I believe those human connections are what make life meaningful.

I believe I bring a mix of digital and practical skills! Professionally, I can help with all kinds of marketing activities for your business — content writing, social media and strategy. I'm a tech journalist, so anything involving storytelling, promotion, or visibility is where I feel at home.

On the more hands-on side, I love to cook, I’m happy to clean, and I enjoy working in the garden. I’m also very open to learning new things, especially related to the farmhouse lifestyle.

One of my lifelong passions is dancing — I practiced ballet for 10 years, and movement is still something that brings me joy and helps me connect with myself and others. I love exploring different styles of dance!

I’m also an avid reader, and my favorite author at the moment is Milan Kundera.

Beyond that, I enjoy discovering local traditions, and sharing music, books, or meals with new people. :)
