Hello, my name is Tara:)
I´m from Germany and I´m travelling in New Zealand until Juli 2023.
During the last 2 years I worked with a carpenter, and learned to do woodwork, and fell in love with it.
I am a Hip Hop dancer and very curious person, and in love with the south isalnd of NZ.

I am a pretty good at woodwork, love it to fill people with enthusiasm for something, and dance since I am 4 years old.
I trained for 1 year a group of 4-7-year-old children’s the basics of dance, this fulfilled me and I´m good with kids.
My family travels a lot, and I visited 13 countries. However New Zealand is my first big journey on my own and I love discovering the culture and things about myself.
I am talanted at solving problems in an effective way, and to see things from another point of few, what often helps in stressful situations.
I´ve been on 7 different farms in NZ.

I was there for 10 days and had a great company with all generations.
Sadly it was raining most of the time but the meals were super yummi!

I met another Woofer and we worked their together.
One weekend we went to the Hobbiten movie set with the adopted soon Flynn.
He is great guy and I went to go surfing another day where he picked me up.
Thanks for that again.
Roland and Charen are great hosts and the house is beautiful.

The two kids are lovely and I enjoyed playing with them.
My "work" was mostly playing with the kids, make dinner and do some gardening.
We fed the calves everyday and it was a great routine!

It was my first Workaway farm at all and the funny thing was, that I was also their first worker for 2 years.
That's why it was a perfect match.
I stayed for 11 days.
My task was to get rid of thistels at the field.
