Description
Traveling and gaining new experiences for some years now in Europe. Our happy place is rural, with nature, having a balance between production and regenarative. As a child Jorge started making compost after being facinated by a video he saw about it. Tanja worked at a beekeepers and demeter farm in the past and felt a strong urge to become part of this way of farming. We're both in love with plants and produce our own products. We recently started gaining experience in producing Kombucha. In our spare time we easily spend afternoon cooking, go for a hike & swim or collect plants for our nursery.

Aside from a green tumb Jorge has some building skills and doesn't shy away from hard physical work. If you need help with promotion, videography, writing, that's Tanja's expertise. We drive an oldtimer camper with basic facilities but no warm water and not extreme insulation so for winter another accomodation would be nice :)

My latest payed job was at the oldest bio dynamic farm in The Netherlands. I worked in the shop, coffee bar, breakfast & lunchroom and the bakery. In between I took care of the social media, newsletter and communication about school trips & private celebrations. I also organised the three monthly staff diners and checked in with everyone on a regular basis. It was not my responsibility but I find I very important myself.

During the years I've traveled and joined Workaway projects I also was volunteering for the girl sea scouts back home and for the online travel platform Trustroots. For the last one I organised the weekly meetings, wrote minutes, worked on the newsletter, helped out with social media and almost single handedly managed the support and safety desk of the platform at one point.

I'm good with animals and have studied, after four years of art therapy, one year of agricultural school.

we stayed at this family for nearly two weeks. We were able to stay in our own campervan hooked up to their power and used their outside shower and toilet. The couple is friendly and hard-working.
