My name is Tania and I'm based in Copenhagen, where I have lived for thirtheen years. I moved from a smaller city called Esbjerg to study Middle Eastern studies and Hebrew and Arabic at the University of Copenhagen. My studies have taken me to Israel, Morocco and Lebanon and I'm so greatful, that I had the opportunity to study and live in the Middle East.
I'm very curious on languages and cultures and meeting new people and learning about their stories.
I'm a very positive, openminded young woman with a great sense of humor and good work ethic. I have been working as a teacher at Jewish school in Copenhagen for six years, where I was teaching the Danish language, society classes and Hebrew.
I was the main teacher in the same class from 4th through 9th grade - and what a journey to spend six hours a day everyday with little humans and get to see them grow into reflected and responsible human beings. From this job I learned to have an overview, to plan and execute and to keep it damn cool in heated situation with 22 teenagers (this is actually a real skill).
In my free time I travel, I play/write music and try to be as much as possible in nature. I love water inside and outside of my body, to solve cross words, make embroideries and learn new things everyday.
I have done one workaway in Norway and I am only starting on workaway adventure.
Can't wait! :)Interests
