Ciao!
I'm Massimo, a 30-year-old Italian living in the Netherlands with my wife Simona and our rescue cat, Draky. Originally from Southern Italy, I've called the Netherlands home for over five years.
Growing up in a menagerie of pets—from dogs and cats to guinea pigs and even a parrot—I've always had a deep connection with animals. This love for furry (and feathered) friends led my wife and I to adopt Draky, a once-traumatized kitten we've patiently nurtured into a playful, social companion.
In the kitchen, you'll often find me experimenting with healthy, balanced recipes—cooking is my passion! When not wielding a spatula, I'm either working out, planning my next snowboarding trip, or practicing my juggling skills (I can keep three balls in the air!).
While I've spent years exploring cities and tourist hotspots, a recent road trip through Iceland awakened my love for nature and off-the-beaten-path experiences. Now, I'm eager to trade city lights for starry skies and reconnect with the natural world.
Professionally, I'm a Product Owner in Software Engineering, leading teams to develop digital products. However, I'm looking to apply my skills and passion in a different setting—rural environments where I can care for animals and contribute meaningfully to daily operations.
I'm excited about the opportunity to combine my tech-savvy background, love for animals, and newfound appreciation for rural life. Whether it's tending to farm animals, helping with eco-projects, or simply lending a hand where needed, I'm ready to roll up my sleeves and immerse myself in new experiences!
