Hey, I´m Silvia and I´m taking a sabbatical year to travel & work, and learn new skills, while discovering the world and meeting new amazing people! I ’m a bit of a mixed bag of skills and experiences but I’m a fast learner and diligent worker with a care for detail! For the last 15 years I have worked in the hospitality business around Europe, as chef(specialised in vegan dishes), as a barista, waitress and as bartender. I have also worked as housekeeper and receptionist in hotels, hostels and B&B´s.
I love all animals and I have been house sitting taking care of cats and dogs and I adore spending time and taking care of them!
I consider myself a very self-motivated person, a reliable and independent worker and a quick learner with an eye for detail, and I´m keen on doing whatever is needed, in fact, I always find jobs to do!

In the future I would like to study hospitality management and sustainable tourism, which is why I´m always interested in working in new places and gaining experience from different businesses. I´m very interested in knowing more about permaculture, synergetic agriculture and how to grow and maintain a vegetable garden and be self-sufficient in life.
I´m passionate about music, traditional and I also collect vinyl and albums that I find in the flea markets! I love photography and visit rural sites, stone circles and ruins of ancient castles. I´m an animal lover and it´s a must for me when in the nature to discover the wildlife, especially spotting deer, birds of prey and sea animals.
