I’m Svenja, 24 years old, and about to stay one month in greece.

The last week of my Greece stay, my student group will meet in Athen to look at the art and culture. But booking flights for just one week was not really worth it so I will spent 3 more weeks in greece..

So usually, when I am not on holiday, I am studying art in Dresden, Germany. I´m a painter - my art is mainly figurative and the materiality is an important topic for me aswell. I´m also thinking about sustainability in the progress, so I often make colours and the primer on my own.
Creative work and getting my hands dirty is something I highly appreciate. So next to painting I also work with clay in our workshop and I like to do etchings.

Besides my studies I like creative works, so here are some examples:
so lately I discovered knitting. I am still not a pro but I am working on it😉 Sewing my old cloths to some new ones is also something I enjoy doing. My mum is a seamstress so she provides the help I need when it is getting rough.
I’m into reading these days and enjoy playing card games with my friends, especially my favourite – Wizard!
I like to put a lot of effort into writing letters and turn them into something really special.I make the envelopes myself.
Watching TV is not exactly my thing, but I’ve started to go to the cinema when interesting movies are on display.

I grew up in south Germany on the land side, so nature and quiet places is something I love and need.
From time to time, I like to meditate and do some yoga in a quiet atmosphere.

Another interest of mine is knowledge of plants, the healing side of it, but also the use for eating. Again, I would like to know more about it. Alternative forms of healing and medicine is a topic I like to talk, think and learn about.

I am an open, spiritual person who likes to travel, being with people and learning / exploring new things.
I am very conscious of myself and my surroundings, and I like to do things. So, working and learning is something I am looking forward to in order to grow.

My last workaway trip in 2019 in Sweden taught me a lot about plants, eating, and health which I am truly thankful for.

For you I’d be great assistance in the range of gardening, feeding animals, caring for kids and cooking but I’m pretty much receptive to a lot of things. I’m not a shy person and would describe myself as companiounable, open-minded and rather uncomplicated.
