I grew up on a small hobby and was raised to appreciate the little things in life, nature and to help others.
In my early 20s I persued a career in nursing, but after 17 years I decided to take a break from nursing to explore other career options. That is when I discovered workaway!
Since I am in search of a new career, love helping people and new experiences I decided to try it out.
My first experience was at fishing resort. During my stay there I did everything from recruit, train and manage the workawayers to manage reservations, running the store, cabin turn overs, painting, carpentry, general maintenance, getting supplies, general customer service and more.
Since then I have helped at a few farms, house sat internationally, pet sat, learned to sail and mer many wonderful people. I have also taken up thru hiking. I hiked nearly 1000 miles of the Pacific Crest trail in the US, several hundred miles of the Continental Divide trail and the 800 mile Arizona trail.
Im confident, organized and professional. I am also enthusiastic, caring, and pride myself in helping others experiences be as memorable and enjoyable as I can.
