Description

I am an outdoor enthusiast who has made a living as an Arborist. I enjoy working in the woods, building and fixing up things, and doing good for my community. I have relative proficiency with small scale woodworking. I spent many years with my grandfather building projects such as cabinetry, kayaks, and most impressively my teardrop camper that I occasionally live in for weeks at a time. I am very highly skilled with chainsaws, rigging, and felling. I am a motived and self sufficient person, I work on my own cars, do my own electrical wiring and other similar tasks. I can run small machinery like bobcats. I am a pretty good cook and I am hoping to learn more about permaculture and sustainable living. My values include freedom, responsibility, self-sufficiency, working for a greater future for my community. I love learning new skills, new philosophies and meeting new people with similar values. My goal is to one day have my own homestead where I grow all my own food and work part time for myself. I currently have my own registered LLC for arborist work, and I am traveling to the west coast to try my hand at Wildland Firefighting.

What else ...

I enjoy camping with friends, going to family friendly music festivals based around conscious living and creating a better future. I have worked for a couple years building massive bonfires at these festivals, and tending the fires. I like learning about local trees and animals, and indigenous history. I enjoy learning about cultures from around the world, their beliefs and social constructs. I love traditional Chinese tea ceremony's, especially in nature.
