One of the reasons i am travelling is to experience Life. There are so many different cultures, Languages, tasks, natural wonders on this world that i just like to discover.
Description
It’s always hard to put down a description of one life or a person. But here we are:
So I am a 27 year old female solo traveler named Lena, like a song my mom fancies. I was born and raised in Germany but do consider myself without roots as I always feel at home when I am hitting the road (traveling)… well besides that paradisic place called Bocas del Toro where I always return back to.
Since I can remember I always wanted to travel the world and see every country. Not just because I wanna get to know cultures, learn languages, see world wonders, explore nature or grow - no I want to experienced life and the places I am.
Thanks to some workaways (hostels, renovation, harvest, child care) I already managed to fall in love with some places and stayed there longer than expected.
For a long time I didn’t follow that dream instead I did my A-Levels, specialized in hospitality and studied tourism and travel management besides I had some smaller jobs in restaurants, festivals, marketing and sales. Now I am at the start to become a content creator so i finally can travel the world and do something good.
I just think everyone in this life has a purpose mine is traveling. And I love it. I am now traveling more than a year - mostly in Latin America. And figured out that my personality is even more complex that I thought. I have the joy, fire and rythm of a Latina in my heart, the organized/punctual/responsible German work mind and the mindful/balanced/calm spirit of an Asian Buddhist. I am a wild mix. The most special thing about me: I love being barefoot even at the airport (I know when i need to wear shoes though). Some might call me crazy in the right way others a big hearted girl. There are so many shades of me - so best is just to get to know me.
Also thanks to my sensation seeking personality I love to not having a routine. I always say and that’s kinda my motto: Get comfortable with the uncomfortable. This is how u learn and grow or at least how I learn and grow.
Oh yeah and don’t forget all my interest - I did horse riding for a long time and I am still in love with it and with animals (besides spiders) at all, I love dancing (recent luck started to try pole dance but reggaeton is the beat for me) and I love yoga.
I am a really social person and love to have people around especially when it’s like a little community family. And exploring nature together or alone is just the most breathtaking thing to do. Sometimes though I recharge my batteries and that’s when I am getting creative.
That’s just a small part of me and my way. Stay curious and I hope I get to know you while I am volunteering at your place or become your travel buddy.

I had an education in a hotel (3 Years), so i learned how to manage Front Office / Receptions Tasks, Gastronomy Tasks (Bar, Restaurant, Kitchen) and also Housekeeping Tasks (e.g. Cleanining a hotel room within 20 minutes).
Meanwhile I am a student in Tourism and Travel Management. I will finish the university next year (2022) in summer.
Beside I also worked in a tea shop (sell tea, give advice) and in an Destinationmanagementorganisation (a lot of Marketing work, e.g. Social Media, PR...)
As a result of having to little brother (7 & 12 years), i have a lot of childcare experience. Cooking together, have some fantasy plays, play outdoor, etc. are just a few things.
Furthermore i am a teamplayer, but also can work on my own.
I did a lot of modeling the last year, so also some experience with that. I do like to try new things and i learn fast. In younger years i did horse riding, jazz dancing and standard. I also have some experience in Yoga.
I would love to immerse my skills and also expand new skills.
