Description

Hola! I'm Stephi, 32 years old from Germany. A big dream of mine is coming true: just having a backpack and travelling the world for an indefinite period of time. Especially after these crazy corona-months I feel more and more the need to give up everything I have, leave the city-life behind me, connect with nature and people and recharge my energies.
I am looking forward to getting to know different workaway projects and to contributing or expanding my skills. I like being in a community and having a task. I have no problem getting dirty, enjoy working with my hands, being creative, and planning activities for the community. Since I travel indefinitely, I bring a lot of time, am flexible and look forward to actively participating in projects.
Also, I have a desire to share lifestyles and cultures and enjoy the nature! So I'm really looking forward to see more of this world, its projects and its beautiful people!

Skills I already have gained are working in a dog shelter, construction work, gardening, guesthouse+hostel+camping, cleaning, cooking, laundry and generally houshold tasks. As a social worker I also worked with children, handicapped people, women in prostitution, adolescents and refugees. I know something about computers and have some experience in farming.
In general I am an empathic, easy-going, calm, creative and open minded person, who likes to be active, get in contact and to work with my hands. Also I am good in planning things and working independent and responsible.
I'm always happy to learn new skills!

(If you are up for it, I could arrange some improtheatre/clowning-, experiental education- or juggling-workshop for your community. I just have a bit knowledge of it, but it's enough to have fun. :) )

What else ...

I've just returned from a long trip to Central and South America. I started surfing there and now I want to keep doing this sport and am looking for projects near the water and maybe also for people who share the same interest.

In addition to that, I'm into dancing, cooking, theatre, festivals, painting, juggling, slackline, yoga, meditation, womens-, and singing-circles. I like to organise brunches, crime dinner games and other group activities, play Jenga, read a book or listen to an audio book, chill in a hammock, sit around a bonfire and watch the stars and clouds.

For the winter season, I'm drawn to the mountains and snow, where I want to learn how to snowboard.
