Ciao! I'm Miriam, an italian girl looking foward to new experiences and adventures !
I lived in Imola near Bologna and I did a master degree in history and anthropology.
I recently took a trip to Asia where I fell in love with the ocean. I dream of one day learning to sail on a boat but in the meantime I am traveling/working in Australia. I like the feeling that comes from traveling, getting out of your comfort zone and discovering new horizons, new people.

I worked for 10 years organizing events like concerts, meetings, social dinners and book launches. I was volonteer during earthquake in Emilia (2012) and flooding in Romagna (2023), I have good organization skills and I'm not afraid to get myself dirty. I have experience in DIY, I'm capable of sewing and cooking.

The work was easy and not tiring. The hostel is small and quiet so if you need a place to take your time it's perfect. The owner, Suky, is available but is not always present. For this reason could be nice the common area could have some more informations on how to get around the city.

We had the chance to host Miriam during more than a month. It really was a great experience to live and work with her. She has a lot of abilities to work in a farm and we trusted her. After a while, we even gave her the responsibility to coordinate the other volunteers. Besides that, she is an open and great person. We recommend her ! :smiley:

I really enjoyed the time spent with Christina, good interlocutor, available, she always tries to make you comfortable. The place is isolated but she tries to take you around in leisure time, I really enjoyed my time here.

I spent some time with Pietro and Makno (very big friendly dog), I felt very welcomed! Good food and good music! The work varied and sometimes is heavy but the time passed fast with Pietro's company! Very recommended!!
