Description

We are a couple of young Irish marine biologists, out to find adventure and make a new life in France! Between us we bring strong skills in Irish traditional music, cooking, DIY/mechanics, art (from painting to crochet!), languages and of course, great company. An ideal stay for us could involve DIY projects, house sitting, farming/gardening or animal care - and most importantly the exchange of cultures and ideas.

We have come in our converted campervan (a home away from home), and we can be as self sufficient as we need to be.

In our free time we love to read, hike, swim, play and create! We would love to begin our new life in Montpellier with a strong sense of community.

Ruairí is very experienced in DIY, mechanics and electronics, so happy to help a hand with any renovations or repairs needed! He is also fond of gardening, but most importantly wants to learn new things! He also enjoy learning and teaching languages (English, French, Spanish), and has taught guitar to both children and adults in the past.

Sophie is accomplished in many times of art (painting, drawing, crafting, knitting etc) and is has led many fun art projects for both adults and kids in fun art projects. She is also experienced in gardening and animal care, and would love to be involved in farming/eco projects. She welcomes any opportunity to improve her DIY skills!

What else ...

We both love playing Irish traditional music, and we would love to share our culture with you! We have even brought our instruments along with us (Guitar, violin, flute and whistle), it would be fun to create together.

As two professional marine biologists, we are interested in all things wildlife and conservation related - the more time spent in nature the better :)
