Hi!

We are Sophie and Mads - a Danish couple at 29 and 31.

After graduating university this summer it was clear to us that we wanted to do something completely different, before committing to a regular 9-5 adult life in Denmark :) So we decided to go for an adventure...

We like to learn more about different cultures and want to see more of the world - so as of now we are traveling the Balkans in our old van - currently in Croatia - enjoying the wonderful nature and amazing people of this county.

Using Workaway we seek to interact with people and learn about different ways of living as we are both open-minded and easy-going people.

We are open to almost every tasks needed, and are not afraid to get our hands dirty. We just want to share some good moments with interesting people and have a good time.

We are both really into nature and outdoor life as well as cooking (and eating!) delicious meals.

We are both speaking english fluently.

Sophie: This summer I graduated as a teacher with majors in danish, craft and sports. I'm very creative myself and I like knitting (currently knitting a warm sweater for Mads), crochet, sewing and other crafts. I'm pretty handy and I love a good DIY.
As an older sister of five siblings, I'm very responsible and good at taking care of others. Before studying I joined the danish military for four months and went sailing on a boat in the caribbean for a month.
My good friend once told me, that if she ever were to take one friend with her to a desert island, it should be me.

Mads: Recently I graduated as a journalist - mainly working as a writer. Whilst it's a good job, I'm not much of a desk jockey :)
I have a huge passion for food and cooking, and I really like preparing and sharing a meal with nice people.
Generally I just really like using my hands whether it's gardening, crafting or DIY-projects. It's only a plus if I can do some work outdoors.

Us: We met each other eight years ago at a boarding school in which some students had disabilities and here we worked as care assistants beyond school time. We are used to work in teams and are totally familiar with being around other people.
