Description
Hi there!
I am a 27-year-old Australian, spending the next six months travelling around Europe. I'm excited to sink into people's properties, get my hands dirty and meet some cool people!
I am easy-going, kind and like a good laugh. While I am responsible and self-sufficient, I thrive on inspiration, listening, and learning from others - one of the main reasons for my travel.
I grew up with a strong ethos of making something out of nothing and a generational do-it-yourself attitude. I deeply love getting into the dirt and doing manual labour. I currently work in Architecture doing Climate Adaption, which I absolutely love. However, spending all day in an office has its downsides - I prefer being physical and outside!
In my free time, I go to the gym and practice boxing and yoga. Despite my petite appearance, I can hold my own and don't shy away from physical challenges and hard work.
I am very outdoorsy and love hiking, camping and spending as much time outside as I can. I will split my time between woofing/work away and hiking so if your property has some good hiking/walking trails nearby that would be a huge bonus!
I am creative at heart, with a penchant for music; guitar and piano mostly (I'll be travelling for a while so if you have instruments I would love to be able to have a fiddle on them - I'm trying to get over my shyness in that regard). I also enjoy various crafts like painting, watercolour, illustration, pottery, embroidery, sewing, photography, and videography.
Looking forward to new adventures and experiences!Interests

More details about your skills
First and foremost I am a quick and eager learner.
I grew up on acreage, which was forestry and gardens, spending much of my time gardening, harvesting, weeding, creating garden beds and absorbing my parents and grandparent's passion for flora and fauna.
The atmosphere that I was raised in and the attitude I have come to value in myself is that of getting in and doing whatever needs to be done. My family and I handled nearly all the maintenance on our property ourselves, from mowing to fixing the plumbing, fixing the roof, or repainting rooms. I would also say through this I am inventive in my problem-solving and believe there is always a solution.
Since moving out and into the city, I haven’t had as many chances to use these skills, but my enthusiasm for hands-on work is still very much alive.
Assortment of other skills:
- I’m a confident driver with an Australian manual license
- I can be a bit of a computer nerd so I have strong IT/computer skills
- I love photography, videography, and have developed strong marketing skills through my current job.
- Spending time with kids is something I truly enjoy, especially getting out into the garden and creating a bit of magic with them. I have two nieces, aged 2 and 4, and a nephew who’s 6 months. Babysitting them and watching them grow has been one of my greatest joys.
- I’m also a huge animal lover. I grew up with dogs and chickens and spent time around cows and horses.
My professional role:
As mentioned above I work in Architecture within heritage and climate adaptation - mostly flooding. I have been in the industry only 3 years so this is a knowledge base I am building. However, I have good technical drafting skills, I am able to produce plans and other documentation. My strongest expertise would be in 3D modelling, and I will have the technology with me to be able to model any future projects, renovations or current states of buildings if this is of interest. I find this can be particularly helpful in the concept phase.
Prior to breaking into my professional work I worked in hospitality for close to 10 years from small home-style restaurants to large scale fine-dining. It is something I really enjoyed, and I think I shine in customer-facing roles. It has also developed an ability to handle stress and high-paced environments quite well.Age

What else ...
I've lived in sharehouses with five people for the last four years, where we've all shared cooking responsibilities. This experience has fostered my enjoyment of cooking and given me confidence in preparing large meals. I love eating healthily and cherish the social aspect of sharing meals with others.
I have a deep passion for yoga and practice it often. I’d be thrilled to learn from others or share my knowledge with anyone interested in joining me.
Through my architectural studies and work, I've developed strong 3D modeling skills. I’d be happy to assist with modeling or drafting future projects, or even teach you the software if you’re interested!
I’m also a total movie and TV series enthusiast. If you’re looking for recommendations or enjoy discussing high-quality entertainment, I’d love to join in.
Lastly, one of my top passions is music—both playing and listening. When I’m not out in nature, I’m likely listening to music. There’s hardly a genre I don’t enjoy. I’d love to immerse myself in the local music scene, talk about music, share music, and play music. Any and all of it—I’m in!Some more information
