Description
I first started experimenting with volunteering work via WWOOF in 2009. Initially on organic farms in my home country, Estonia. Shortly thereafter I moved on to experiences abroad. In countries like Poland, Germany, Italy and Portugal. In the latter country I have spent multiple winters volunteering at different places. I've also been a long term housesitter in an off-grid quinta in Portugal. Have also done shorter term housesitting gigs,
2010s was my most active period in this alternative lifestyle. But occasionally I've done it in 2020s too. Even though I'm new to Workaway per se, I've had experiences with workaway type situations.
Most of the work I've done tends to be manual/physical. But in addition to that I do have an artistic side. I play multiple instruments, I write music and occasionally I perform loop pedal concerts and have occasionally played in a couple of bands in the past. I like solving Sudoku puzzles, I tend to be quite good with numbers in a way. -

More details about your skills
My working experiences - both paid and volunteering - have mostly been on the physical/manual labour side of it. Organic gardening, land clearing, tree pruning, chainsawing, strimming, some construction work, both conventional and eco-building style, painting and decorating, I've also worked in removals/transport.
As a housesitter, I've looked after pets. One time I had to learn how to milk goats and make goat cheese, that's an example of me getting into new skills as part of my experiences. I'm pretty good with reasonable consumption of water and electricity, especially when I've housesat off-grid solar powered properties. -

Special dietary requirements
I generally prefer not to eat dairy products (such as milk, sour cream and most cheeses). But it is a case by case basis sometimes and it can depend on the overall texture of the food if I feel comfortable enough to eat it.
