Description
I have traveled since I was little and I’ve always loved it, I've done all kinds of trips, from hikes and camping, to staying in sustainable communities, to living in hostels, to more touristy things but I’m open for all kinds of experiences. I love nature it makes me feel at pace and connected to earth. Something that I also enjoy a lot it’s connecting with other people, for me meeting someone new it’s always an opportunity to learn something. I'm currently studying environmental science in UNAM and this has allowed me to have increíble experiences and to understand more about the connection that exists between societies and the environment .

I'm creative, responsable, super friendly, love to paint and great in problem-solving. I also have a lot of experience with kids, charity work, hospitality, general maintenance, ogranizing events, some gardening and waitressing . I know how to cook but nothing too profesional, I'm very sociable and open-minded. Also I'm a online spanish teacher.
More career oriented, I know hoy to take surface and interstitial water parameters, make population charts, do laboratory dilutions and use a high resolution chromatograph. I'm learning how to understand the relationships between a population and the ecosystem to integrate both needs.

It was great having Sofia stay with us for a couple of weeks.....the only problem is.......she didn't stay longer!!

Sofia was so lovely to have staying with us. She is just such a calm and friendly soul and on top of that a great worker. She fitted in with everyone and did everything we asked of her well and with just a little training. Quick to learn and always attentive to detail.

Sally and Steve have a beautiful place to make the best volunteering experience. They are really chill and have the best vibe, the hours you work depend on season but it's easy work. They have ingredients for you to make yourself breakfast and lunch and at dinner you can have a meal form the cafe's menu.
