Description
Hello 😊 We are a family of three from Australia: Jen (43), Chi Lye (47) and Alannah (8) who work as medical doctors and live on a hobby farm with horses, mini goats, sheep and a dog. We try to grow fresh food at home be as self sustainable as possible and have a veggie patch at home, and try to do most of the things at home on the farm. We host workawayers at our farm and enjoy travelling and meet new people, families and to discover other cultures and way of life. Last year we enjoyed joining a family in Borneo and it was a wonderful experience for us all, and we look forward to meeting other families in the future!
We enjoy nature, animals, good company, and learning new things :) At home we enjoy baking, sourdough everything, cooking, trying new recipes, Jen especially loves horses and became a natural horsemanship instructor after some nasty injuries, with interest in classical dressage and positive reinforcement training. Chi Lye loves wheels and outdoor activities, he can speak Chinese much better than me (I am an ABC). Alannah loves games, crafting, reading, talking, dancing, creative play, animals and making new friends!

Since we are both medical doctors, we have experiences with medical care and interacting with all sorts of people. We also have parenting skills, cooking skills and life experiences from living on the farm, training animals, dog sitting, farm work, tractor driving etc. We have basic woodworking skills and happy to give most things a go and keen to learn some new skills. Between us we speak English, Mandarin and Cantonese, a tiny bit of Japanese and German.
