Hello and welcome to all who come here! 🤗
I am Jordan, but better known by those who know me as Nemo. I'm an Australian citizen, so my mother tongue is English, but I'm also quite fluent in German (colloquial as I learnt on the streets, no school) and I'm currently learning Spanish, although with duolingo (completely different way than I learnt German!).
I'm a very open minded and curious soul, with an open heart to most, a lover of new experiences, one who would like to try most things at least once. I wear my heart on my sleeve, or as the Germans say, ich trage mein Herz auf der Zunge, very honest and I say it how I feel. I can be gregarious, and although very extraverted, I do prefer smaller crowds and not so loud environments as I'm an extremely garrulous type, and will talk to a fence post shall it lend me a listening ear. In what I enjoy discussing, my interests are quite heterogeneous, prefering discussions of the deeper kind, finding out what makes someone tick, controversial moral or philosophical questions or my favourite kind of debates would be politicals, economics or metaphysical discussions.
Obviously a traveller, with a keen lust and desire to see the whole world! I want to discover all the little gems of nature there are to find and experience every nook and cranny of the human experience in all of it's creative manifestations and representations in seeing all the different cultures around this floating space rock we all share.
I'm a quite spontaneous type of person, who makes plans but than hastily changes them or forgets about them completely for some new amazing opportunity that comes my way and follow. Glass more than half full most of the time, commonly seeing just the positives in both sides of a decision, I actually carry a coin on me at all times which I flip quite often to direct me and I simply let fate decide the rest for me.
My interests and hobbies are quite eclectic and wide ranging, with an interest in most experiences that come my way, but I am particularly fond of nature and outdoor activities - my favourites being hiking, cycling, mountain biking, scuba diving and skiing. I would love to get more into other outdoor sports such as rock climbing (been several times) and rafting, and if somehow ever given the opportunity, especially paragliding, skydiving or wingsuits. I also commonly read, mostly in the topics of politics and geopolitics, economics, psychology, history and sometimes biographies. When one can't be outside, but would like to be social and actively doing something, my favourite indoor sport would be billiards, but I also don't mind a game of darts or cards.
I am also sort of a vegan, being a vegan except I will eat eggs, if they are from chickens who are pets or very small private farms.
I think here would be good to add a few things. I have my drivers licence, both car and motorbike including my international licensee with me. I alsohave my own mattress and sleeping bag, but no tent.Interests

I never thought I'd learn a second language in my younger years, seeing it back then as pointless. But after learning German, and developing a 2nd "German personality", I am quite interested now in languages, including all the different dialects. Now I am trying to learn Spanish, and am always happy to learn new parts of any language and to help others in any way I can.Skills and knowledge I'd like to share or learn

If you ask me, I think I'm a pretty good fit for most jobs, as I'm often confident in at least trying something new and I both love learning and learn quickly in most tasks. I quite enjoy to challenge myself as well and love fast paced environments.
As for what I actually have experience in career wise is also quite diverse. For work I have dabbed in several job varieties over the years, with the most being in hospitality. I have worked nearly a decade in this industry from being a chef, cafe manager, barista and restaurant shift manager. I have also worked a few years as a personal trainer (the only single thing I studied in college that I actually finished the entirety of) and quite enjoy helping people train, stay fit and healthy and also a little bit of rehabilitation, and have also worked a little bit with rugby kids teams and other sports groups for teenagers, and most recently as a ski instructor for kids and teens in the Austrian Alps. For 2 years I was working on a prawn trawler in the gulf of Carpentaria as a deck hand where I also collected a few odd skills. I have also several years experience in the construction industry, mostly in road construction and concreting, but also a fair bit of house construction as a trades assistant.
As for other helpful skills and abilities that I have gathered and learnt in my life from my hobbies, I am quite a restless person when not travelling, and have built a couple of gardens, and had my own garden in Germany for 3 years where I grew a range of vegetables and learnt a lot, mostly by doing not by researching, here I also built my own garden house for my tools from wood and no power tools. I love to tinker with things, and have done a few minor and basic repairs on my own cars over the years and have a basic mechanical knowledge of car engines. Finally, I also have my TEFL, and although I have never taught English, seeing how I learnt German, I think I know the subtleties and mistakes one encounters when learning a new language more than the short course could teach one.
As explained above though, I am always happiest to learn new skills and always open to anything new, and also happy to answer any questions about anything I may have missed in this very short description of my life until now.Age
