Hi, I’m Sjoukje.
I’m a nomadic artist working with mural art and tattoos, currently living and traveling in my self-built van called Froggy.

Creativity is very important to me. Creating small or large beautiful things and leaving something meaningful behind gives me a lot of joy. This can take many forms: paintings, mural art, tattoos, cooking nourishing meals, making music, dancing, and much more.

Before I started traveling, I worked as a sewing teacher, a skill I still love to share whenever there’s interest or a need for it.

I feel happiest when working with my hands, whether that’s creating art, building, sewing, or working with the earth. Having my hands in the soil and being around animals brings me a lot of peace and joy.

I don’t enjoy feeling idle or useless, I feel best in environments where I can contribute actively. Give me a task where I can use my creativity, my hands, and my energy, and I’ll be fully in.

I’ve been living a nomadic lifestyle for the past three years, spending most of my time in communities and in eco-projects. I value shared living, exchange, and contributing to spaces that are created with care and intention.

- I have been a sewing teacher and like to share crafts and skills.
- I love art and making murals paintings (In my pictures you can see some of my work)
- Cooking beautiful meals (especially vegetarian, fresh from the garden type of meals)
- I am learning about processing food like canning produce, making yoghurt, cheese, bread, kombucha etc. I have some experience but am still figuring it out.
