Nice to meet you! We are Simone and Luka (30&29), currently on a working holiday in Australia.
We’re ready to embark on exciting adventures and share our skills in this beautiful country. We have both recently graduated in our master degrees. We’ve been a couple for 6 years now and have seen quite a few places. Now we're looking forward to exploring Australia together!
We’re big believers in stepping out of our comfort zones. Every new experience is an opportunity to grow, and we’re eager to share our skills —from gardening and construction to teaching languages and tech. We're ready for any hands-on projects you need help with and are always happy to pick up new skills along the way.
We enjoy cooking, sharing recipes, and learning about local cuisines. Plus, we believe a shared meal is the best way to connect with new friends.
We’ve done quite a few workaways so far, here is a little list of our tasks and skills so far:

Simone:
I've spent several years in the marketing world, with a special focus on social media. Gardening is another passion of mine; my terrace is a green sanctuary, brimming with plants, herbs, and flowers. I’d love to help bring some greenery into your space too.
When it comes to organizing and cleaning, I'm your go-to person for decluttering. I'm always ready to dive into a creative project or add a personal touch to any space with arts and crafts. Cooking is another joy of mine—I love trying out new recipes and sharing delicious meals with friends and family.
I've pet-sat cats, dogs, and budgies for years, and I’ve had my own budgies for over a decade. Event planning is another area where I excel, thanks to my experience as a production assistant. I absolutely love hosting and organizing events, bringing people together in memorable ways.
Recently, I became a certified yoga teacher. This journey has been both challenging and rewarding, and I’m excited to share the benefits of yoga with others.
There are some things that i don't have (much) experience with, but i'd be very interested and motivated to learn and help out with: Any work on farms, fishing, working with horses and cows and many more.
Luka:
Academically, I have a strong background in Maths and Science, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and a Master’s in Robotics. I am happy to provide tutoring in science and maths or help with programming.
I would also love to help with hands-on work in construction or DIY projects and pick up handyman skills.
I enjoy cooking and gardening and I have experience taking care of turtles for five years, and I’m great with other pets too, ensuring they receive the best care and attention.
As a hobby, I have played the guitar for years and would love to share my passion for music.

What else ...
Both of us are passionate about music. Simone played the piano and sang for four years in the past and is excited to pick it up again. Luka has been having a blast playing the electric guitar again for the past few months after playing it for several years.
