Chile is a country that fascinates me. When I first learnt Spanish my teachers were Chilenos who had left the country in the 1970s. I am interested in contributing to green, selfsufficiency activities

Description

I now work part time and can use some months in the year to travel. It is important to me that travel has a purpose of experiencing but also to contribute to the people and places you visit. So workaway seems great for that. I have worked in agriculture and more recently in processes of adaptation to climate change. I am experienced in gardening, looking after animals and livestock, carpentry and painting and decorating. During my life so far I have lived and worked in Peru, Mexico, Nepal, Kenya and Ethiopia. I now live in Scotland with partner, grown up children and dogs.

I like gardening, also making things from wood etc. I like to play guitar. I am an agriculturalist by training and I have experience in looking after livestock. By profession I am a researcher in agroecology and economics. Hablo castellano con un acento Yucateco!
