Description
Hey
I'm siméon, I'm 22. I'm the oldest of 4 siblings and have 3 little sisters and I'm currently living in belgium in brussels for my studies. I'm finishing my third year in political science and I'd like to take a break next year to travel and learn new things.
I'm looking to travel to Ireland from the beginning of September to the end of December, with a break between October 15 and November 15.
My main goal in this sabbatical is to get out of my comfort zone. I want to discover new people, new learning techniques, new perspectives on work and the future. I also want to practice my English during this year so I'm looking for projects where English is the main language spoken, although I can of course share my knowledge of French, my mother tongue! I'm also particularly interested in the social nature of my year, and in getting to know other people from different cultures and ways of thinking.
I make no secret of the fact that this year is a big leap into the unknown for me. I've never been abroad on my own, but I'm all the more excited at the idea of undertaking such a trip, and I hope to be able to share my enthusiasm with you during my potential stay with you!
I hope to see you soon!

Most of my skills come from my scouting experience. I've been in it since I was 5, and I've been a leader in my troop for 4 years now. I should point out that it's a mixed troop, and girls and boys spend the year and the camps together.
The scouts have taught me a lot of important values: sociability, respect, benevolence, humor and self-improvement.
The camps enabled me to live outdoors for more than two weeks, with the strict minimum of comfort possible: a tent, a fire table and a river. But I also had a strong sense of organization, otherwise things would get pretty messy haha!
I'm easy to get on with, especially young people, having spent two years working with children aged 5 to 8, including 9-day camps, and I'm currently a leader for 12- to 16-year-olds, with whom we go away every summer for 16 days. I'm comfortable enough to sleep in modest conditions; I've been sleeping in a hammock during my camps for over 5 years!
I've also helped my father with the renovation of our house, gardening, painting, stripping, sanding, plastering the walls ect ect.
I also love animals, we have 3 cats and 2 rabbits at home, two of the cats are kittens that I rescued two years ago from a farm where they were abandoned.
Above all, I'm looking to go to places that will take me out of my comfort zone, so that I can learn new things, whether through human encounters or by learning about everything I've yet to discover in life.Age
