I'm Shoei Takano, a 20 yo college student in Japan. I will visit Denmark from September 3, 2026.
I was never the active type and haven't really been out of my confort zone. So, I decided to go on a working holiday in Denmark and try doing things I have never done before.
I haven't really made a detailed plan yet, but I am thinking of staying in denmark for about 9 months, first half doing workaway and the second half living in a shared house, so I could meet many kinds of people.
I would describe myself as very calm and respectful person, which I think is pretty typical of Japanese people. I'm always happy and positive, but somtimes maybe a little too optimistic. I'm not the most out going person, but I would really love to make new friends and have fun with. I'm also not too skillful, but I am eager to learn new stuff and help as much as I can.
I'm still in the middle of finding out what kind of person I am and what kind of things I like, so I would be happy to know about the lives of others.

I would love to learn Danish and to teach Japanese in exchange. My goal is to become able to understand Danish songs and movies without looking at the lyrics or subtitles, but I'm still a beginer and nothing near that level.
