Description
Tom and I are from Hobart, Australia. For the last year we have lived and worked in Oslo, Norway. We enjoy growing our own fruit and vegetables and love to prepare meals with our homegrown produce. We also like to forage for wild fruit and vegetables. We spend a lot of time outdoors - hiking, running, cycling, climbing, surfing and camping. We are mostly vegetarian, but are flexible depending on the circumstances. I also practice yoga regularly. Tom likes to build / fix things - including kitting out two camper vans in Australia, and another in Norway. We are practical and friendly - we enjoy helping out with tasks and learning from others.

Tom is a mechanical engineer, and I work in policy development and project management.
Our native language is English and we both understand some Norwegian. Tom is fluent in Dutch and also speaks French.
We have a large vegetable garden and small orchard in Australia. We made our own compost, irrigated our garden (very necessary in Australia) and practice crop rotation principles. We are very happy spending time in the garden, or working on small farms. In 2017 we WWOOFed at three different properties in France and Italy. We enjoyed learning new skills, and also sharing our knowledge from Australia.
Tom is very good at building and fixing things, and I help where I can!
I trained as a chef in 2013, however my preferred style of cooking is 'home-style farm to table' and mostly vegetarian. I love to bake, and to make food for people to share and enjoy.
We both take initiative, and are always willing to help out.Age
