Hi there!
We (Rob and Shan) are passionate about not working behind a desk, we have a love for nature, music.. and enjoy taking a hands on approach to solving problems
Rob wants to start a games and music “cafe” somewhere up the garden route and I (Shan) intend to make it happen :)

Shan knows a lot about animals and worked in a vet shop as a veterinary nutrition advisor for 2 years. She also completed her undergraduate degree in psychology and archaeology at UCT. She is good at crochet, plays the ukulele and has dabbled in simple graphic design and is strong enough to do manual labour.
Rob studied journalism and sound, he is a musician and artist, he has a lot of hands-on experience (construction work, recently repaired a motorcycle, leather work).. he’s also quite tech savvy.

All in all, we are two Capetonians who are drawn to the sentiment of life away from the city. We enjoy forming real connections with people through arts, music, and games.. experiences, etc.
We intend to spend the year travelling and working (markets, remote), in search of a place to establish ourselves
