Hi! Thank you for checking out my profile. I'm currently 23 and a part-time online University Student and Labourer! Travelling and connecting with people is a huge goal of mine for the future and I am currently trying to make that a reality!

I always try my best to approach every situation with empathy and an open mind. We can learn from any situation that life throws at us and I think it is our in our best interests to do so.

I have experience with both teaching and working outside and would love to contribute to any rewarding projects! While also learning about all the interesting cultures and ways of life that our planet has to offer!

People always describe me as an open and patient person. And these are 2 traits that I definitely try to embody in my daily life. I regard each new situation in life as a learning experience and I always find great satisfaction from personal development and growth. I actively enjoy being outside of my comfort zone for this reason, in my opinion it is good to push one's limits in a healthy way in order to grow as a person.

Travelling and learning about other cultures is a huge goal of mine! And I hope that 2023/2024 is the time that I can make this dream a reality!

I have a Level 5 CELTA equivalent TEFL qualification with PremierTEFL. Along with having microcredentials in Teaching English to Young People and a course in Advanced English Grammar. I have quite an analytical mind so I think this predisposes me to a career such as teaching, as this requires one to be able to explain concepts in a simple manner. I am currently really interested in pursuing teaching ESL or Maths as a career choice!

I have experience teaching English online to both Ukrainian Refugees and people still inside Ukraine. Working and teaching in these kinds of sensitive environments requires a high degree of adaptability and empathy. As the students I'm working with are going through very difficult and trying circumstances, so not only do I teach, but I also do my best to support my students wherever possible as well. The structure of our lessons are always quite informal (at the student's request), so this requires me to improvise explanations and requires me to need to teach them on the fly, as there is no way to predict the kind of conversations we will have and by extension the kind of errors that they will make. This was a phenomenally rewarding experience and this is what jumpstarted my want to help people and make a difference in the world.

In addition to this, I have also participated in English Language Immersion Camps in Poland. These programs required a more structured learning process. Also, due to the more inexperience these participants had compared to my experience teaching people from Ukraine, it also required me to employ different stratagems in order to help the students understand and improve their English. I think the combination of both of these programs has really helped me to understand what it takes to be a good teacher, and I really want to use the skills I have learned in order to help people and make a difference.

Right now, I am currently an online university student studying Mathematics. This is a subject I really enjoy because I like working with numbers and I also like the challenge of working with difficult mathematical concepts.

During the pandemic and while at University, I have been working Part-time jobs as a labourer outside. These jobs usually involve menial tasks such as cleaning roofs and replacing roof tiles, cleaning and replacing gutters and cleaning plastic fascia's. This is quite a demanding physical task and means I spend a lot of time outdoors. I'm no stranger to hard-work, in fact I find hard physical work to be rewarding! And I am also not afraid to get my hands dirty. I am also very curious about how we can use physical skills and our human manual work in harmony with our environment. I am very curious to learn more about our impact on the environment and what humans can do in order to make the planet more hospitable!
