Hi,
we are a down-to-earth family of three: Ina (44), Marc (42)
and Rio (7).
We love to travel since we met more than 22 years ago. We are on the road at least 3 months a year. It has always been a deep pleasure to meet people, find special places and discover local food.
When we aren't traveling we live in our house with a big garden in the south of Germany. We are also workaway hosts.
Here you can find our profile: "help our small family in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany"
* Ina: I love biological gardening and care for many beds full of perennials and ornamental grasses. Most of them I propagated by cuttings and sowing. I also grow some vegetables and berries. We have pets I enjoy to care for: rabbits, cats and sometimes foster dogs. I also work for an anthroposophical company which is not that far away from permacultural rudiments. My hobbies are crafting, beekeeping, being outdoors, hiking.
* Marc: the last decades or so I'm into designing 2D graphics and managed a textileprinting section for team oriented sportswear. When it comes to cooking food, I can get very passionate. I always try to be rather authentic or to combine unusual flavors and textures. My wife Ina has green thumbs and is skilled in most kinds of gardening topics. So I'm trained to execute the part of hard physical labour on her ideas ;-p . I also have a huge interest in all kinds of future technology.
We're both familiar with repairs such as painting, rendering and electrical stuff (Marc completed an apprenticeship back then) as we did a lot of things by ourselves when we renovated our house.
* Rio: I am shy in the beginning, but adopt quickly to new people/situations/places. Then I´m very independent. I usually stay, play, help and potter around while my parents do workaway.
We already have some very good experiences as workawayers and would love to continue at your place!Interests

We were lucky that we spent christmas and hogmanay together.
Unfortunately, no vegetables were grown during our stay. We helped improve the greenhouse and there were some cleaning jobs to do. Accommodation and food was very good.
Jiab and James have taken us for coffee and did trips with us which we enjoyed very… read more
