Description
Hi, I’m Seppe — a creative soul from Belgium with a master’s degree in animation film. I love exploring new places, meeting people, and learning by doing. I’m calm, open-minded, and always ready to help where I can, whether it’s through art, teamwork, or simply sharing good moments together.
What makes me happiest is helping others, listening to music, spending long evenings with good friends, and trying new things. I’m someone who listens deeply — people often tell me I’m good at reading and understanding others, which I think comes from being very empathetic.
I’m currently travelling in New Zealand, where part of my family lives — people I had never met before. This journey is also a way for me to connect more deeply with nature and with myself. I’ve travelled a bit in Europe before: I once walked from Lisbon to Porto, stayed at a yoga retreat in Spain through Workaway, and hiked the Thorong La Pass in Nepal. These moments have shaped me deeply and taught me a lot about simplicity, gratitude, and openness.
I’m inspired by Taoist philosophy and the idea of letting go — that’s one of the reasons I decided to travel alone. I’m trying to bring more meditation and mindfulness into my life and step away from compulsive habits that easily return when I’m home. I want to experience new ways of living and working, and I’m open to learning anything.
In my free time I love drawing, making music, walking, playing chess, and sometimes gaming. I wouldn’t say I’m an expert at one thing — I like to try a bit of everything and enjoy learning by doing.
I used to be a scout leader and worked on playgrounds with children of all ages. Being part of a group means a lot to me — it’s about giving and receiving, learning from each other, and bringing out the best in everyone.
I’m open, calm, and curious, and I really look forward to connecting with new people, helping where I can, and sharing good moments together.
