Description
Hello! My name is Sepp. I’m originally from Readsboro, VT, but I’ve also lived in Maine and Sicily. I’m a rising sophomore at Columbia University, studying political science and anthropology. I love learning about global politics, languages, and culture, and I crave experiences that push me outside my comfort zone and transcend borders of all kinds.
My latest work has been with the International Humanitarian Law and Youth Initiative (IHLYI), a civil society organization which I occasionally represent at the UN Headquarters in New York City. I’ve also spent a lot of time working on a farm making sauerkraut and kimchi, as well as in restaurants handling front-of-house service and kitchen prep.
My hobbies bring me so much joy, including acrobatics, Rubik’s Cube speedsolving, juggling, and card magic; I’m always looking for new ways to entertain others. This summer, I am looking for a collaborative environment where I can work hard in exchange for the opportunity to meet a diverse group of people and advance my fluency in Spanish. I am available in the window from June 15th to August 1st and am hoping for a stay of at least 4 weeks. -
